NVIDIA and Reliance Industries Limited are teaming up to work on something really big for India – a super-powerful AI infrastructure. This infrastructure will be a lot more powerful than India’s fastest supercomputer right now. NVIDIA is bringing its advanced GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip and DGX Cloud AI supercomputing service to the table.
This AI infrastructure is a big deal for Reliance’s Jio, too. They’re planning to create AI apps and services for their massive customer base of 450 million Jio users. Plus, they’ll be making energy-efficient AI infrastructure available to scientists, developers, and startups across India.
But why is all this AI power so important? Well, it can do some pretty amazing things. For example, it can help farmers in rural areas get weather and crop price info in their own language through their phones.
